New England hood cleaning

One standard, all six states

Boston and the Merrimack Valley are where we work most, but our crews clean kitchen exhaust systems for restaurants and commercial kitchens across all of New England. Wherever your kitchen is, we clean the entire system — hood, filters, ductwork and rooftop fan — down to bare metal, the standard NFPA 96 requires.

Grease that builds up inside a kitchen exhaust system is one of the most common causes of restaurant fires. Regular cleaning keeps that fuel out of your ductwork, keeps your fire inspector satisfied and keeps your insurance company happy.

These are photos our crews took on the job — not stock pictures. Grease builds up in places most kitchen staff never see, like the seams of the hood and the blades of the rooftop fan. That’s exactly what we clean.

Questions

New England hood cleaning FAQ

Do you really work in all six New England states?

Yes. Boston and the Merrimack Valley are our home turf, and we also clean kitchen exhaust systems across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and Connecticut. Call and we’ll tell you when we’re next in your area.

How often does my kitchen hood need to be cleaned?

It depends on how much you cook. NFPA 96, the national standard for commercial kitchen exhaust, calls for monthly cleaning with solid-fuel cooking (wood or charcoal), quarterly for high-volume kitchens such as 24-hour, charbroiling or wok cooking, twice a year for moderate volume, and once a year for low-volume kitchens like churches, camps and senior centers.

Do you clean at night so we don’t have to close?

Yes. Our crews clean after you close, so your kitchen is clean and ready for the next service without losing a shift.

What do I get after the cleaning?

A service sticker on your hood showing the date, and a photo report of your system before and after cleaning — the paperwork your fire inspector, insurance company and landlord want to see.

How do I get a price?
